Macy's Needs to Ensure Crystal is Safely Packaged

This set of glasses was not delivered as safely as a set that I purchased sometime ago. It was obvious that this set was not new or had been returned. All of the glasses were not wrapped in the protective wrapping and the shipping box was covered with many damaged, soiled looking bruises. Macy's needs to ensure better delivery, or just place more items in the store, so that we can examine them before purchasing and not waste so much of our time.

No Packaging

Items were broken, not packaged correctly. Very little packaging for glasses.

Daily Elegance at a Great Price

I use Godinger for everyday use. These glasses are great. The instructions say hand wash, and I find they do well with the crystal gentle wash setting on the dishwasher. I do not have kids and my husband is not a bull in a china cabinet so they work well for normal use. I do not know what additives (barium oxide, zinc oxide, or magnesium oxide) Godinger uses for the unleaded crystal, but they do catch the light and I enjoy them more than cut glass. Good buy.

Great for gifting

The husband purchased this set for his weekend cocktails and he is not disappointed. The glasses are perfect in size and are a bit slimmer, which is ideal to hold. The design is just immaculate and looks great. The base is thick enough without making the glass too heavy. The glass thickness is about medium. Overall a very nice set that you can buy for yourself or gift others.

Real crystal does not have a seam.
