Finally received and unboxed the S25 Ultra grey. It seems slighter lighter and thinner than I thought. Not that big. Love it.

The phone has terrible battery life. This is the second ultra that I purchased, the first one returned because of the same reason. Thought of upgrading from a S10 that I had for years, and the battery life on the years old phone holds up much better than this one. Had charged the phone in morning, with absolutely 0 usage, like 1 min of screen time charge dropped by 10% by afternoon. (This is after the alleged "learning" usage pattern period of the phone.) Checked battery usage for all the apps, every single app showed 0% usage since last charge. This is after all the recommended battery saving stuff was done. Like putting it in dark mode, 60hz, Turn off AOD, turn on battery saving mode on maximum, no background running apps, screen brightness set to 0, location services off, turned off Samsung diagnostics. I have no idea what is causing the battery drain when the phone is not being used at all. Had to by a portable power bank for the phone which is ridiculous. As to the other features, as someone who doesn't live on their phone, never use the camera, does not play any games, the difference between the S10 and S25 ultra in its usage is very negligible at least to me.

This Galaxy S24 Ultra is my most favorite phone I've owned. True to the descriptions, I am more than satisfied. Still getting to "know" this phone more due to its advanced technology. SAMSUNG DOESN'T MESS AROUND WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO QUALITY. Thanks to Verizon I'm on board.

Amazingly fast CPU compared to the phone that I upgraded from. Software upgrades took a fraction of the time to complete and that isn't trivial given how often phone software is updated.
